Our reading written by Costa Rica Artists
Manuel Zumbado's own site describes him as a painter and video installer. The profile adds the route there, from architecture school in 1982 to a fine-arts licenciatura in 1992, and the profile's reading of his wood installations as a tension between building and entropy.
Teaching runs through the profile: his site lists university teaching and a doctorate in pedagogical mediation in 2017. Prizes on the page include the national Aquileo J. Echeverría award and first place in a national painting salon.
Our summary of the quotes on this page. It adds no facts of its own.
